The lecture portion of the program covers the latest treatment techniques, common clinical concerns, supporting research, and introduces two new products specifically designed for upper extremity stroke rehabilitation.

During the lab section of the program, therapists will team up and assemble and fit each other with the SaeboFlex. They will learn all the parts that make up the SaeboFlex, and the correct adjustment/fitting procedure.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet and work with local stroke survivors who have offered their time to help demonstrate our products and our treatment approach (the Saebo Arm Training Program) that focuses on agonist retraining.
During the treatment lab section of the program therapists will work in small groups and develop treatment plans. They will learn to identify the current level of the stroke survivor, muscle groups that need to be addressed, and exercises/activities to address each muscle group. Therapists will have the opportunity to work with a variety of stroke survivors, and will learn how to utilize and incorporate our new line of gross motor equipment into their treatment plans.
The various presentations that a therapist will encounter when dealing with stroke survivors will offer a challenging environment. The trouble shooting section of the program will help the therapist hone their skills, and make the necessary adjustments to the SaeboFlex needed to maximize outcomes.
